  Since 1992, MacConsultants has helped hundreds, of Mac Users, with expert onsite (Bay Area, Ca) and national telephone Service and Support.

  Services: system setups & configurations, ranging from one or two home or office Macs, thru multi-user, multi-site client/server setups, including: data transfer/migration, software/hardware upgrades- including Mac OS X, all kinds of Troubleshooting- disk, OS, application, printing, internet, wireless, network setup, synching, Windows and cross platform issues, problems etc. Mac data recovery services, (non-emergency & emergency onsite & off).
One time, or ongoing Mac system optimization and preventative maintenance and backup. Anti-virus and anti-spyware protection, hardware or software content filtering and security. We also offer fee-based pre & post-sales consulting in: products selection, Networking: client/server, routing internet LAN/WAN, DSL, Dial-Up, ISP choice, cross-platform setups, fast networks, wireless (AirPort & non-Airport) including extended wireless networks, remote access, remote control, VPN's, security including SSH, multi-user setups, etc. Web, Graphic Design, Digital Imaging & Video, Storage and Mobile Computing solutions and many hybrid solutions as well. A few key iPhone/iPod touch applications we setup: remote access to view/control your home or office Mac from anywhere over the internet, remote view/control your Video Surveillance cameras from anywhere over the internet and view/control TV from anywhere over the internet with your Slingbox.

  We also do 1 on 1 general Mac use and application* Training by appointment for home & business users. (Bay Area, Ca only). Seniors Welcome!

We sell Parallels, VM Fusion and the different versions of Windows (XP & Vista) and any needed PC applications for a complete Windows on Mac solution that works right! We can ship your new Mac system(s) with Windows and your PC applications ready to run out of the box!

-Home Theatre setup sales/service: including HDTV, DVD, digital surround sound with Mac or PC integration, and can include wireless  iTunes Music streaming to your stereo. Including authorized SlingBox Sales and Setup with your Mac (and PC too) for viewing you cable or satellite TV on your home/office network or away, anywhere in the world over the internet with your MacBook, PC notebook and now with your iPod Touch or iPhone!

-iPod and  iTunes 9 operations training and digital music management.

-iPhoto and digital camera operations training and digital image management.

-GarageBand Studio consulting & Setups, including sales of related products: midi interfaces, keyboards, controllers, speakers and cables/adapters.


Please Note- We do not offer "break-fix" repairs on such items as broken display screens, notebook panels, logic boards and/or board level components, etc.
For these determined cases, acting as an authorized Apple Service Facilitator, we can refer you at no charge, to Apple or a 3rd-party Apple authorized service provider,
(Bay Area, Ca only), for in-warranty or out of warranty repair. We also, do not take any trade-ins of used macs and/or equipment.

We provide telephone troubleshooting and support for your convenience and for emergency purposes.

Daily service availability varies due to current service personnel availability and parts on hand. All onsite fee-based consultation and services are performed on an appointment basis only. * Add a half-hour of travel time at applicable rate, if your location is beyond a 15 mile radius from Fremont, Ca, (depends on where service personnel is dispatched from).
** We accept personal checks with CDL & current credit card ID, Visa/MC, Amex, Discover Card and verified PayPal account.
Net Terms do not apply to service. A signed MC Service Agreement Form may be required upon completion of service, before leaving  your premises.

Please Note:

• We only offer support, consulting, and Onsite Service on G4 based Macs, running a minimum of Macintosh Operating System 10.2 (Jaguar). We no longer support Mac OS 8.5 thru 9.2.

• Please inquire about our pre-paid, long-term service agreements, if interested...
• Services can be bundled in a product lease as a "soft cost" up to a certain percentage of the approved lease amount.

•  We also sell a wide variety of the latest compatible Processor Upgrades to boost your older & newer Macs, plus any other needed upgrades, including memory upgrades and additional or replacement disk drive storage.

• As an authorized Apple Reseller, we also offer the full line of new Mac Desktops and Notebooks in stock and build-to-order configurations, to avoid old system upgrades.
